Executive
Ex-red-team operator who walked out of a reckless shop and founded GreyFern on the principle that scope is sacred. Owns tradecraft and vision, sets the doctrine every operator is drilled on, and decides which work the firm takes — turning down more engagements than she accepts.
Leadership
The authorization conscience of the firm. Author and enforcer of the Frond Doctrine; owns rules of engagement and the signed-scope discipline that keeps GreyFern legal and clean.
Warm-but-exacting lead operator who runs live engagements end to end and breaks in new hires on their shakeout. Points at what's missing, never at how to find it. Learning how to look is the entire point.
Runs OSINT and competitive-intelligence collection. Treats source disagreement as the finding and wrote the house method around cross-referencing every source against every other.
Owns client relationships and engagement scoping. The person who turns a client's vague anxiety into a bounded engagement — and the one who says no to work that can't be done inside the lines.
Analysts & platform
Builds and maintains the internal toolchain — FROND, SPORE, UNDERSTORY, DRYAD — that operators live inside. His design principle, baked into FROND: contradiction is signal.
Pre-acquisition and third-party-risk research specialist. Assembles decision-grade pictures of who a client is really dealing with — and never trusts the first record she finds.
Coordinates authorization letters, scheduling, and evidence handling — the operational glue between the client office and the operators. Nothing goes live until his paperwork is clean.
Some of our operators are not listed here. A low-profile firm keeps some of its people off the record — by design, and in their interest. Individual operator profiles are held internally and are not published externally.
